Dr. David L. Skaff
Dr. David Skaff completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1984. He then attended the West Virginial School of Dentistry, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1989. Upon completing dental school, Dr. Skaff joined his father and his brother in a large group practice in Miami. Dr. Skaff learned a lot from working with his father, the most important thing being that we treat patients and not just teeth. Dr. Skaff’s father used to say, “I’ve never seen a tooth walk into my office, but a person did.”Dr. Skaff has completed advanced training in implant dentistry, completing a Maxi Course in Dental Implantology through the Medical College of Georgia and attending the prestigious Pankey Institute in Key, Biscayne, FL, from 2001-2005. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.Dr. Skaff was born in Hutchinson, Kansas, on an Air Force Base while his father served in the Korean War. He and his wife, Katyna, have been married for over 25 years and have two children, David and Emma. They enjoy skiing in the winter and watching football, especially the Miami Dolphins and the FSU Seminoles.
